A Surprising Lesson from Losing My Phone

Hey Reader,

I hope you’re doing well!

First, I want to extend a warm welcome to our new environment! I recently transitioned from Substack to ConvertKit after some thoughtful reflection. I found that Substack limited my ability to personalize emails, segment my audience, and utilize various convertible tools. For now, we’re still exploring this platform, and I’m excited to experiment with the features ConvertKit offers.

I wanted to share a little story with you that’s been on my mind lately. 2 months ago, I lost my phone. Instead of panicking and rushing to get a new one, I decided to use a burner phone for a while.

What happened next was completely unexpected. This break from my usual routine gave me the chance to reflect on my overall content strategy and my growth journey.

If I tell you how much surprising insights I stumbled upon an how much they really shifted my perspective you won’t believe me!

I realized that sometimes, stepping back is just what we need to move forward. I learned a lot about the importance of grit and how to truly connect with my audience.

If you’re curious about what I discovered and how it can apply to your own journey, I’d love for you to check out the full article on my blog. I think you might find it valuable!

Personal Note #1 THE ONES WHO STAY Some people love you loudest when you're at your worst. I think it’s a form of love to want a person to do better for themselves. No, not the soft, performative display Reader. Not the love that applauds you through every bad decision because it’s afraid of your reaction. But the real kind. The kind that looks at you and sees what you’re capable of and refuses to pretend otherwise. Life is fickle. It moves fast, and it moves quietly, and somewhere in the...
